What word can I use to replace 'well' in a poem? - get well poem
I write a poem in free verse, just for fun, but the use of the word "good" in this context is too much for my style. This is the beginning:
For the first time in two months
I'm against anyone --
Well, somebody, but not you.
I bummed around a letter,
a sign that you're gone
not only the value of the property.
What is the word I can use to replace the "good"?

Simply take the "and" Out, sounds good without having to replace another word.
Real or OK, OK
