Does silicone sheeting really help treat keloids? - treating keloids

I had a keloid at the age of 10 when I had chickenpox. grown over the years, and I wonder whether there is a way to reduce or be withdrawn. Does anyone know anything?

This laser therapy can reduce the thickness of keloids, and sometimes a good plastic surgeon can resect the scar. To what extent it would be difficult to predict. The formation of keloids is the model of healing of the scar some people, and never can predict how the skin responds to injury. Have an advantage of lasers and even resection can offer is that you are treating the skin during the healing process, could be to influence the final scar. It is best to consult a dermatologist or plastic surgeon to know exactly what, if anything could offer.
